This Saturday, there will be no regular Kings training but don't stress, there will be balls dropping through hoops as Kennet Leisure Centre will be hosting a British Wheelchair Basketball Junior Skills Camp!
The Skills Camps are fun, exciting and packed full of wheelchair basketball. Our friendly coaches will lead the sessions which will include a skills focus and gameplay, as well as GLOW IN THE DARK wheelchair basketball. All attendees will experience a competitive game environment during their attendance at a Skills Camp.
The South East Regional Skills Camp is a great event for junior players to meet other young players who share their passion for wheelchair basketball.
Older juniors (13-19 years old) will also have the chance to develop their broader skills regarding officiating and running a wheelchair basketball event by taking part in our Young Activators' Award.
Skills Camps are open to young people 10 -16 years old.
Young Activators' Award is open to young people 13 - 19 years old.
Players of all abilities are welcome

Attendees need to bring a packed lunch and refreshments

To celebrate the club's Fifteenth birthday, we are announcing a set of events we have called "Fifteen for Fifteen"
Our first event will be hosted on October 5th, 2019 and will be an all-day fundraiser featuring a round-robin tournament. The day will consist of a round-robin tournament and some fun basketball related challenges. The event will be aimed at local business and groups to pay and come and have a go at the sport and have fun in a mini-competitive environment.
Have no experience of playing wheelchair basketball? No problem, We will have Kings National League players on hand to show you the ropes and to coach you through the experience.
The tournament is first-come-first-serve and spaces will be limited! You can be booked your place with a £25 deposit.

This September the Thames Valley Kings will be celebrating it's fifteenth birthday! To celebrate this achievement the Club will be launching a series of events over the next 12 months.
Watch this space as the first event will be announced tomorrow at 6pm!

The Thames Valley Kings would like to congratulate the South East Teams especially the Kings players, coaching and staff who represented the region at the Lord Taverners' National Junior Championships.
Under 14s finished 5th and Under 18s finished 3rd.
