Kings were today at the Berkshire Community Foundation Charity symposium!
The foundation has really helped the club over the years and it was really great to be here!
Jacqueline also collected a cheque for £1000 today as well.
Everyone at the Kings would like to express a special thank you to everyone at the BCF

Here at the Kings, we're always thankful to anyone who goes the extra mile to fundraise for us especially when they go outside their own comfort zone!
Kings supporter and Table Official Vicki Thomas is a self-confessed non-runner, This challenge is a big deal for her and she would be grateful if you could spare a little donation to help motivate her to train and run a 5k in aid of the club.
Keep up with how Vicki is doing by following her on her facebook page:

We start this week's news update from the land of the Kings after an explosive weekend of 2017 School Games action last week, which saw Kings Member Reece Barker and Rappers (Peter Rapley) taking part as an athlete and team manager respectively. A huge thank you to newburytoday (Newbury Weekly News) and Bracknell News for covering the story in their pages for us.
Kings also appeared on Kennet Radio's Saturday Sport just after 4pm on Saturday to talk about our recent successes and the up-n-coming 2017/18 British Wheelchair Basketball Division Three South West Season. It's fantastic we have great support from them and we promise to provide them match updates and previews throughout the season - A huge thank you to Steve and his team!
Kings also had a friendly game against Swindon Shock Wheelchair Basketball Club on Friday evening which ended 36-54 to Swindon. Kings would like to thank them for the great atmosphere, hospitality, and friendly competitive spirit in the game and we would like to express good luck to them in their Division one season.
Extra special thanks go to Kings Legend, Kayla Bell for joining us for the friendly, great to see her wearing our kit for a special one-off appearance.
Kings member, Joe Humphreys fundraiser campaign continues on JustGiving who is trying to raise £3,200 for a specialist day-to-day wheelchair. You can help Joe out by donating on the following link:
As always, everyone at the #KingsArmy really appreciates and sends thanks to all the media outlets, social media people and everyone else covering our activities on and off the court.
