This month, The Thames Valley Kings have been selected by our local Waitrose - Waitrose Thatcham for the Community matters Green Token collection, Our club offers one of the few opportunities for people with physical disabilities to participate in sport, thus enabling them to improve their social skills and confidence as well as taking part and introducing them to people who also have a disability and giving them targets to aim for - The club is the only competitive wheelchair basketball club in Berkshire. It is run exclusively by volunteers who dedicate their own free time. During our history, over 100 players and volunteers have been a part of this club and have added to its success. If you shop over this festive period in Waitrose Thatcham - Please consider dropping your tokens in our pot and help us raise much needed funds.

We are so pleased to be able to support Thames Valley Kings Wheelchair Basketball Club just after Christmas - which is the only sporting disabled faculty like this in this area all the way down to the South Coast.
We'll be supporting the Home Round of division 4 on Saturday 24th January at Kennet - and can't wait. They do some truly brilliant work, if you fancy watching a brilliant game, come down and support too!
