Match report from British Wheelchair Basketball Divison 3 South and West - Kings Vs. Shock
Swindon Shock 48 - Thames Valley Kings 31Recce opened the scoring for the start of the game in the second minute, after both teams had tried to get the scoring underway. Brad was fouled in the action of shooting but was unlucky on his free throws, but made the basket count next time around. Ryan scored to take the team just one basket back into the lead with 1 minute left on the clock, Shock then scored to tie the scores at 6 all as the teams went to the bench for the end of the quarter. Both teams went back out on the floor determine to win the game and played hard defense. Brad brought the score back level to 8 all; Wayne was fouled in the action of shooting and made his first free throw from the line. Joe scored 6 points in the last 4 minutes before half time although Shock had just crept ahead as the teams went to the bench for half time the score was Kings 15 v 19 Shock.
A change in players for Shock saw kings unable to keep the scores even as they had done throughout the first half. Brad being the only one to score for kings adding 6 points to Kings total. The team where working hard against Shocks' tight defense and double picking back on Reece. Shock 32 v 21 kings at the end of the 3rd quarter
