Kings expected this game to be the toughest one of the season but it really was an exciting game. Both teams started strong with Reece putting up the first 2 points for kings. Blazers stayed with Kings but some good shooting saw Brad, Joe and Reece once more add 6 more points to the Kings total and that saw the quarter end 8-8.

The second quarter was very similar both teams were locked in this exciting match with Reece picking up from where he left off scoring an impressive 12 points in the quarter. The Kings defending was solid but the Blazers did keep up and were also hitting some nice shots of their own. Both teams were at deadlock come half time and the score was 20-20 with it all the play for in the second half.

The third quarter saw a much different blazers team with a different approach and they decided to put on the full court press which Kings struggled to break. Blazers put up the first 15 points in the quarter before Anthony replied for the Kings scoring his first 2 points of the game. Blazers continued the more aggressive approach to the game but Anthony scored a lovely free throw for the kings, and that took the quarter to 23-41.

The final quarter was slightly more even Anthony scored first for the Kings but the Blazers continued with their impressive shooting and the rubber court was starting to take its toll on some players. Brad, Joe and Peter all added to the Kings total with a basket each, but it was not enough and Blazers took the game 31-57. A very good game and a big learning curb for the Kings who continue to improve every game.
